Between teaching and welcoming new starters managed to also get a day at Yeo Valley installing our latest UNO Q Acoupi setup and a visit to the Science Museum with our new CE students. Is always fun to walk around the Information Age exhibit to be reminded of where we have come from and enjoyed spending a the day over on Exhibition doing meetings out of the V&A cafe’s and sculpture rooms.
Mark had done a great job of getting the Acoupi hardware ready for field deployment and testing. Drove through the rain front crossing the country and arrived at Blangdon in lovely sunshine. Some photos from the install below.
Updated the 4 deployed devices including putting this one onto one of the new PV frames.
Climbed over electric fences to install 3 new ones.
The mic doesn’t always point to the sun.
Pretty spectacular views from some of these sensors.
Built a Data Explorer to help check files being stored in the S3 bucket.
Garlic arrived in the post so another batch planted ready for next year. Solent Wight and Picardy Wight.
Looking at links.duncanwilson.com, these parts of the internet crossed my path this week:
- Some lovely writing by Tony on Access Tools - 3 new books bought
- pretty cool video of hoops - via Kottke
