End of term means frosty rides to work, xmas lunches and this year a visit to the V&A storehouse. The week concluded with an interestsing PhD viva on Robotic Cities and a book on Anglepoise Lamps.
First time visiting, really impressive collection and liked the format of the displays. Snook into the David Bowie collection.
Loved the dials on the synths.
And the Kaufmann Office
The method of interacting with the displays via the QR codes and online web app were really impressive once I made the leap to trying them to find out more information.
Came across this cistern sink in a basement toilet at UCL - designed one of these for my A-Level DT project in the 1980’s.
Book of the week was Spring Light - a really interesting history of the Angelpoise Lamp.
Looking at links.duncanwilson.com, these parts of the internet crossed my path this week:

more robots, this time on swings
-
predictions on AI via Ben Croxford
