Mainly pictures of prototyping this week. First up some testing of a mount made by Danny and Simon in the Light Fab Workshop for airborne eDNA sampling using a DJI Matrice 4E drone. A visit to a potential next phase Hercules patient tracking site. A trip to House Mill to check on a sensor, and some student projects developing nicely.

Mount sits above rotars and is designed to make swapping out the filter papers quick and easy.

Visited Topcon site near the new Project Oriel building (Moorfields) - great potential / opportunity for next phase of Hercules research - amazing canal side location.

Went to see why the Housemill sensor was misreading - blocked by a “danger” sign that had floated into view.

Also interesting to see the reality of sensors deployed outside the lab - cobwebs galore!

Satrias lora battery and solar device is still working well.

Student projects developing nicely - great to see prototyping in action.
